The grant will be utilized to systematically organize audiovisual oral recordings and adapt them into an interactive educational app, along with supplementary multimedia resources, in an endangered language of Paraguay. This initiative will serve as a powerful tool for language revitalization, accessible at no cost to native speakers and the broader public through the Tape Ayvu web platform. These multimedia resources will also support future educational and community revitalization activities. The primary goal of this project is to ensure the continued rescue, promotion, and transmission of this oral tradition for future generations. With over a decade of dedicated effort and collaboration with native-speaking communities, this work has supported the preservation of invaluable millennial oral knowledge, a crucial part of human cultural diversity. This commitment remains ongoing, in partnership with the last remaining bearers of this unique cultural heritage.
